Our published recommendations are based on verifiable product specifications, authoritative guidance and relevant user evidence. Commercial relationships do not determine rankings.

How a buying guide is built

We define the decision the page must help with, then identify products that are available in the UK and materially different from one another. We check exact model numbers and compare the factors that change the household routine: drink type, capacity, adjustment, counter space, noise where it is documented, cleaning and replacement-part support.

We do not award invented scores or turn a longer feature list into an automatic winner. A shortlist should explain who each option suits, why it earned a place and the trade-off that could make another choice better.

Accuracy and updates

Important factual claims are traceable to saved sources. Pages display their latest substantive update date. Product status and outbound destinations are rechecked before publication, and corrections are made when reliable new evidence changes the answer.

Product recommendations

We explain why a product fits a particular need, show the specifications behind the choice and include meaningful limitations.

Owner feedback can reveal recurring usability questions, but it is not treated as proof of performance and anonymous quotations are not invented. Safety, food hygiene, water and health claims are sourced to the appropriate official body or exact manufacturer instructions.

Corrections and commercial independence

Readers and manufacturers can report an error through our contact form. A commercial relationship does not prevent a correction or the removal of a recommendation. When affiliate links are present, they are disclosed under our affiliate policy.
